What's the best martial art or self defense training? Is it tae kwon do, jujitsu, karate, kung fu, judo, aikido, muay tai, kickboxing or boxing?

If you are looking for a self defense system, karate classes or martial arts training school that can provide street worthy techniques, then you've come to the right place. I realize that choosing a martial arts school that's right for you can be overwhelming and frustrating. Let me invite you to call or come by for a free martial arts training class in the St. Louis, St. Charles or Washington, Missouri area.

Center of Defensive Arts is a unique self defense school that has combined the best techniques of four different martial arts to create a seamless curriculum (Seizon Jujitsu) for your protection.  Unlike some other disciplines such as tae kwon do, kung fu, karate, judo, all of which have their merit, Center of Defensive Arts concentrates on street worthy techniques.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between what Center of Defensive Arts teaches and other martial arts studios?
Center of Defensive Arts only teaches effective, versatile, and street-worthy self defense techniques.  We do not train students for tournaments, competition or cage fighting.  Our school's mission is to teach students to protect themselves and their loved ones.  Like our motto says, "We train survivors, not champions."
Can anyone take classes?
Yes, that's the beauty of Center of Defensive Arts.  Our curriculum is versatile enough so that individuals of all ages, and both genders, can learn self defense skills.  One does not need to be a great athlete to learn how to protect themselves.
How long are classes?
A typical adult class at our school lasts one and a half hours.  Our youth classes (12 and under) are one hour.  However, there are a number of ways to structure classes and seminars to suit one's needs.
Does your school only offer self defense?
No, we also offer cardio kickboxing tailored for physical fitness.
What are your hours and what does the training cost?
We suggest that you contact our studio for hours and pricing.  We are very flexible with both so call us to fit your needs. (314) 503-2102.  We do not require a sign-up fee or contracts.
